Coronavirus update

We understand that these are worrying and uncertain times for our customers and we are working hard to manage the impact on the services we provide for you.

Your health and safety and that of our workforce is our priority and is at the heart of every decision we make.

You may have noticed that when you call us, we are asking a few more questions to understand if you are self-isolating or have Coronavirus yourself.  For non-urgent matters, if you do have the virus or are self-isolating, we will delay your visit until you contact us to let us know you are recovered.  All emergency issues will be dealt with in the normal way.  You may also be following the government guidance to self-isolate for 12 weeks. In these instances we will work with you if you need any visits to agree what arrangements can be made. We are making sure that our teams are taking all precautions to protect you and themselves. If we are able to visit, we ask you to move to a separate room so that we are minimising any contact to safeguard you and our workforce.

We’re reviewing our approach daily in line with the latest government announcements and we will continue to keep you up to date with any changes that affect you.

For the safety of customers and the Magna workforce, we have made the decision to close all offices to external visitors until further notice.  All our online and telephone contact channels remain active.

If you have been affected by Coronavirus and you are worried about your ability to pay your rent or service charges, please contact our income management team. We would like to reassure you we will not be taking any legal action to evict people who are affected by the virus and fall behind on rent payments, and will work with you to ensure that you get the advice and support you need to be able to pay your rent and catch up if this should happen.

Whilst we will make every effort to keep people safe and continue to provide our services, we also have a duty of care to our workforce and their families.  Resources may become depleted through sickness, and we may need to redeploy teams to undertake other work in and around our properties.   We will do all that we can to support you and our communities within the restraints this pandemic may bring.

We ask you for your support, patience and understanding in this very difficult situation.

Please take every precaution recommended to keep yourself safe and well from this virus.
