Keeping our customers safe
We’re a bit excited about the arrival of our new Magna face coverings and thought we’d share how we’re working safely in our customers’ homes as we start to reinstate more of our services.
All of our teams are issued with personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure we meet all government guidelines relating to Coronavirus and will always wash their hands thoroughly before approaching anyone’s home.
PPE isn’t required if our customers don’t have Covid-19 symptoms but we know that wearing a face covering is still reassuring for many of our customers and colleagues, so they’ll always have one with them. We are here to help and to make people feel as comfortable and safe as possible in what is an unsettling time, so if they’re not wearing a face covering our customers can ask them to put one on.
If we know a customer is isolating or displaying symptoms and there is an emergency repair to carry out, our team will wear additional PPE for everyone’s safety. This will include gloves, a disposable suit, goggles or face visor and a face mask, which will be worn before approaching and knocking on the door. We hope this doesn’t look too scary – they’re a friendly bunch underneath it all!
Our priority at all times is the health and safety of our customers and colleagues. We therefore always ask that customers notify us if there are any health and safety concerns.
