We’ve been working hard over the past year or so to develop our vision and our strategic priorities. At the heart of this work is our focus on our customers and making sure that they are considered throughout the business and in everything we do.

We work with some amazing people. So this year we nominated our most long serving engaged customer for Inside Housing’s ‘Housing Hero tenant lifetime contribution award’. And we’re so proud to say he’s been shortlisted!

Magna is keen to support organisations across Dorset and Somerset who make a difference to people's lives. We are delighted to support the Dorset Carer's hub with funding so they can provide extra support at this time to local carers.

That’s why we are proud to be working with Somerset County Council and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust to provide short-stay accommodation for people leaving hospital across the county.

At Magna we know how important having a place to call home is, yet sadly so many people find themselves in difficult situations leading them to homelessness. People from different walks of life and different circumstances fall on hard times where they find themselves in need of help.

Food banks

Feeding our communities: How Magna are supporting local food banks

We are seeing how Coronavirus is putting extra strain on household finances. Food banks already support lots of families across the UK and the Coronavirus is causing more and more people to rely on food banks to feed themselves and their families. This includes many front line, key workers who are supporting our NHS and most vulnerable people right now. Magna Housing are committed to making a difference in our local area and supporting local communities is very much part of our ethos and culture.
