Road safety is an important topic for us because we have 156 vans on the road across Dorset and Somerset, covering over 1.5 million miles per year.

Bath-based Curo has announced it will work with South West housing associations Alliance Homes and Magna Housing to help speed up delivery of new homes in the region through its Strategic Partnership with Homes England. The funding arrangement was secured jointly with Swan Housing Association at the beginning of last year.

With people struggling to get on the property ladder, many remain at home with their parents or end up renting through the private sector which requires a large deposit and doesn’t hold the security of homeownership.

With increasing pressure on our housing stock and people struggling to find affordable housing, we should be looking at creative and innovative ways to address this so everyone can have a home to be proud of.

Two Dorset businesses have strengthened their relationship by agreeing a contract to manufacture 50 more sustainable modular homes for communities in the South West.

Keeping people safe has been the national priority over the last seven months. As a customer-facing business, we spent a long time making sure that our workforce is safe, particularly those who continued to deliver services during the lockdown.
