We’re a bit excited about the arrival of our new Magna face coverings and thought we’d share how we’re working safely in our customers’ homes as we start to reinstate more of our services. 

Everyone needs a place to call home, now more than ever - a place to feel safe, comfortable and look after their health and well-being. That’s why we are proud to be working with Somerset County Council and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust to provide short-stay accommodation for people leaving hospital across the county.

Following an in-depth assessment (IDA) by the Regulator of Social Housing, we are proud to confirm we have retained the highest ratings for governance and financial viability. 

With the support of our fantastic IT team, colleagues across Magna have adopted new ways of working to continue to provide essential services for our customers during the Coronavirus lockdown.

At Magna we know how important having a place to call home is, yet sadly so many people find themselves in difficult situations leading them to homelessness. People from different walks of life and different circumstances fall on hard times where they find themselves in need of help.

We are seeing how Coronavirus is putting extra strain on household finances. Food banks already support lots of families across the UK and the Coronavirus is causing more and more people to rely on food banks to feed themselves and their families. This includes many front line, key workers who are supporting our NHS and most vulnerable people right now. Magna Housing are committed to making a difference in our local area and supporting local communities is very much part of our ethos and culture.
